From a university beauty contest to producing international fashion shows across four countries.
How it started
My path began at eighteen, when I entered the Miss Neftegaz beauty contest held at my university. It led me to the Sh*Atelier fashion theatre, and from there to runway shows, magazine shoots and advertising campaigns.
Later I was offered work in China, and it was abroad that I gained most of my professional experience.
After several years I realised I wanted to pass that experience on — to help young talent find their own potential. That is how the school began. I built the curriculum from my own career: twelve disciplines, covering everything a professional model needs.
What matters most
in training
A complete approach. We do not only teach runway walking and posing. We develop self-presentation, confidence, and the ability to work in front of a camera.
Physical preparation and mental health matter just as much — this work demands stamina and resilience.
Advice for those
starting out
Do not be afraid to begin, and do not give up at the first setback. Believe in yourself and keep working.
Find a school or an agency that will support and guide you. And do not neglect your health or your way of life — that is the foundation of any lasting career.
The qualities of a
successful model
Determination, discipline and patience. Confidence, and the ability to adapt to any situation.
A model must be able to work as part of a team, stay open to new things, and never be afraid to show individuality.
Where the industry
is going
Fashion is always changing. We are seeing far more diversity and inclusivity, which is unquestionably a good thing.
I expect to see more models of different types, ages and cultural backgrounds. The important thing is to stay flexible — fashion has always been a reflection of society.
